Would it not be wiser to forget specs and start tailoring future developer iterations towards the simple work around shared by customer who was nice enough to champion for your product and find a way to solve your most troublesome and frequently mentioned pain point? So I did some research and found the crash is due to the link, not my specs (which are well under.) So I tried a work around, turning off wifi (rebooting steam in offline not enough.) And Success! I posted the work around in forums and struggling users all found the same success. This new screen is crashing only my steam app and not entire mac system. Then another update, with a new splash menu screen including a link to vote for game of the year. Game play was smooth!! Then there was an update, "El Cato," and I couldn't load anything, New Game, Continue, Load, NOTHING would get passed the loading, and my entire mac system would crash. I loved the game, played all the way through, built pretty much every building had 3k citizens and 5M in the bank. My specs are well under the required, but, when I demoed the game it worked. ![]()
